About Michael and Sherrie A passion to connect with God in intimate relationship is the driving force behind Michael & Sherrie Howell’s music and teaching ministry. They believe every person’s primary purpose in life is to develop a lifestyle of seeking God with their whole heart (“you will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart,” Jeremiah 29:13).
Michael has worked in the studio with many internationally known Christian artists and ministers. He has also written and produced songs for many award-winning CD’s and children’s movies throughout His career as well as working on several Grammy nominated albums. He has taught as a guest instructor at Christ for the Nations School of Worship and has been a contributing writer for Mentor Magazine.
Michael & Sherrie have two children, Sarah and John Michael. They, along with their band Go Deep, travel full-time all over the U.S., leading worship and teaching

Leading worship is the primary function of the band, Go Deep. It is their desire that times of corporate worship become catalysts that draw people into a “deeper” walk with the Lord and lead to a “lifestyle of worship”.
Youth retreats and camps are
home to Go Deep through the spring and summer months. "All Generations"
church services have also become a major focus for the band.
As Michael intermingles the Word in extended times of worship, in these intimate "holy moments", they are seeing families and relationships restored.
In more of a "concert" setting (still keeping worship the focus) they have been privileged to share the stage with some great Christian artists this past year including: Audio Adrenaline The Afters Barlow Girl By the Tree Chris Tomlin David Crowder Band Disciple Matthew West Manic Drive Rhythm Sanctus Real Superchic(k) Russ Taff Breaking through generational barriers, Go Deep has been accepted by audiences both young and old, becoming somewhat of a “bridge” across generational gaps. They have been honored to lead worship at conferences preceding some of today’s foremost ministers including: John Bevere Jesse Duplantis Bill Britt R.W. Shamboch Dennis Burke Terry Mize Kenneth and Gloria Copeland Mylon LeFevre Jerry Savelle

Since it's beginning days in 1999, the band members have changed from time to time in keeping with Michael's vision of Go Deep being a "community" of worshippers. Michael &
Sherrie were both raised in pastor's homes and have served the body of
Christ in practically every aspect of ministry. From working with youth,
college and children in the local church to working behind the scenes of
worldwide evangelism (TV broadcasts / Production Coordination / Studio and
Live Music Recording / Live Sound) for over 10 years to now leading worship
for crowds of thousands and even millions via live satellite broadcasts,
they are called and equipped to help churches and ministries share the
message of the gospel to an ever-progressing culture in a relevant way.
Leading worship for churches, camps and retreats across the country as well
as consulting and worship team-building are our primary avenues of serving
the body. They look forward to locking arms with other ministries, churches
and ministers to build the Kingdom of God together through the gifts and
talents He's entrusted them with.
